About Cameron Keith
First and foremost I am a visual person. Whatever means I use to express an idea it is always to capture the light of a room, the mountains and its habitats, or the light of the human spirit. Helping people with creating images has also been a constant in my life. When post-processing my photographic images I like to use textures and layers to push the creative envelope. I love sharing my ideas with anyone that take an interest in them and anyone who wants a little help creating a better image.
From a very early age it seems I have been creating some sort of imagery whether it was a drawing or an oil painting of some sort. Now as an emerging professional photographer I find myself particularly passionate about the Canadian Rockies, its vistas and wild life. To me the Rockies seem like home, however I was raised in a small farming town in Saskatchewan.
Born in Kipling Saskatchewan, I have always been close to adventure. That love of adventure has taken me to Quebec, Ontario, Northern Alberta, British Columbia as well as Atlantic Canada. It is the true beauty of the Canadian Rockies that brings me home to the mountains every time.
I use all that I have learned over the course of my life and apply it to my photography so that my clients benefit in getting a rich collection of photographs that not only are bright and full of color but ones that collectively tell their story. That story maybe a collection of photographs of a corporate event, a birthday party, a picnic or that very special day, a wedding.
Of the Bicycle:
I have been passionate for the bicycle from a very early age. My first long trek was to my cousin’s farm 9 miles (14km) from town. I was 5 years old at the time. I can still recall the feeling of biking that very long way and the freedom it represented. Certainly, a sense of an emotion at the time that manifested later in life but “a bike is a bike is freedom” and to this day is still my favorite means of transportation.
Today it’s about Trekking, Cyclocross races, Time Trials and the latest, Hardcourt Bike Polo. I love to share my work with other photographers and artists, amatures and professionals alike.

When I'm not outdoors photographing people or the natural environment, you can find me engaged in one of my other passions, long distance walking, bicycling, or back at home cooking in the kitchen.
Projects
I have a couple of different projects on the go that keeps me very busy.
My Blog
My personal blog which I am using to document some of my life’s experience that relate to photography and art. This Blog has articles on my photography and some on my visual art that is shared with anyone that takes an interest in what I am doing. You will also find write-ups on my images that I upload to my Flickr Photostream and photo-store from time-to-time.
My Flickr Photostream
I share my photography experience on the social photography site Flickr. I am also an administrator for a few photo groups there as well. Flickr is a great place to connect with people and share what everyone is doing with photography. For some reason I have managed to generate quite an interest in my photography over the past year and have hopes of generating even more this year. Please stop by and take a look.
